A to Z Survey

So, I've been seeing these everywhere and decided it was my turn to do one, yay!

Author You’ve Read the Most Books From:

There has been several that are about tied. But right now it would probably be Cassandra Clare, I've read both The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices series.

Best Sequel Ever:

Again, that is probably a tie. While most people say Harry Potter (which is ranking up there for me), I would have to say either The Iron Daughter or Clockwork Prince

Currently Reading:

Chime by Franny Billingsley

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Iced Tea, it's what I always drink

E-reader or Physical Book?

Definitely a physical book. There is nothing like the feel of a real book in your hands. The screens on the E-readers hurt my eyes.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School:

Well, I've always liked bad boys or jerks (true story), so maybe Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices or if I wanted to go with someone with more class and different standards that wasn't a bad boy, I would say, Mr Darcy of Pride & Prejudice.

Glad You Gave This Book a Chance:

Fracture by Megan Miranda. It wasn't at all what I expected. I thought that it would be dull but it turned out to be an amazing read!

Hidden Gem Book:

Rose by Holly Webb. A very cute book for middle-grade. It's a twist between Harry Potter and Annie.

Important Moment in Your Reading Life:

That would have to be when I was little and I first learned how to read, duh! Haha

Just Finished:

Haunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

Anything sexual or of gay or lesbian natures. I tend to try to stick to strictly children's, middle grade and young adult and any sub-genre of those categories.

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer at 756 pages

Major Book Hangover Because Of:

Not sure...

Number of Bookcases You Own:

Three. One in my bedroom that has all the books that I have yet to read. Two in the living room, one that has my books series on it and the other of all the other books I have read. Will have to get another one soon since they are filling up rather quickly.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Twilight.

Preferred Place to Read:

In my bed with peace and quiet. Love to snuggle up under the covers and get lost in my books :)

Reading Regret:

That I never finished my Harry Potter series and that I watched the TV show of Pretty Little Liars before I read the books.

Series You Started and Need to Finish:

Pretty Little Liars, Harry Potter, The Infernal Devices, Carrier (Leigh Fallon) and Shadow Falls (C.C. Hunter)

Three of Your All-Time Favorite Books:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

Unapologetic Fangirl for:

Hmmm, not sure.....

Very Excited for This Release More Than All the Others:

Mistwalker by Saundra Mitchell

Worst Bookish Habit:

Sometimes I snack while I'm reading.

X Marks the Spot (Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book):

On my TBR shelf it's Tangled by Erica O'Rourke. My series shelf it's Fallen In Love by Lauren Kate. On my regular shelf it's Queen of the Dead by Stacey Kade.

Your Latest Book Purchase:

Haven't been able to get out to purchase a new one yet, but hopefully will this weekend :)

ZZZ-Snatcher Book (Last Book That Kept You Up Way Late):

All my books keep me up WAY too late. It's the only time I get my quiet 'me' time. So the last book that I read was Haunting Violet, I stayed up until 3:30am reading it.

I did this survey too - I thought it was so much fun!! I'll have to check out Rose by Holly Webb - I'll bet my kids would like it.
