Rose and the Magician's Mask
by Holly Webb
Publisher: Sourcebooks Jabberwocky
Genre: Middle Grade, Fantasy
Release Date: September 2, 2014
Rose is now a fully fledged magician’s apprentice—will her new magic be enough to find the dangerous magician’s mask?
When a precious mask of unimaginable power is stolen from the royal palace, Rose suspects that dark magicians are at work and that danger looms. The race to stop the evil thieves will take Rose to the mysterious city of Venice, where nothing is quite what it seems. Can Rose use her magic to find the terrible mask before its true powers are revealed?
This book was so much better then the previous books. I mean, don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVED the other books, but this one had more action and fast-paced adventure in it. It was very hard to put it down.
This story picks up where we left off in the last book, so there is no wondering what has happened between then and now and you are immediately pulled right back into the world of magic as they are still fighting Lord Venn and Gossamer and still left wondering who Roses' real parents truly are. However this time, we are taken on an adventure to Venice, Italy, and some exciting things are waiting to unfold there.
