What's Been Happening With Me

So, as many of you know, I recently moved from Mississippi back to Louisiana. It wasn't my first choice in places, I would have much rather moved back home to Michigan. But for personal and financial reasons, I decided to move back to Louisiana.

We found a great trailer to rent in a decent town, outside the city limits where my daughter can finally have a yard to play in. We also have a great view of the neighbors horses out back.

My Rating System

I know some of you might be curious as to what my rating system is. Well, I will explain it to you.

I rate on whole marks, not half marks like a lot of blogs do. I used to rate on half marks (and might go back to it soon) but found it was a little easier with the whole marks.

I rate the books on story, characters, writer's ability and cover art. Like recently I read a book that I couldn't force myself to finish reading because I was so utterly confused about the direction of the story and what it was about. I would normally have given it only one butterfly mark, but since I enjoyed the characters and the cover I gave it two butterfly marks.
